Assalamualaikum.
Ok, sambung lagi cerita jalan-jalan kami di Deerland Park World of Nature di Lanchang, Pahang.
Taman haiwan ini ada pockets of seating areas with small ponds and mini waterfalls. Redup dan nyaman sekali. Deruan airnya cukup menenangkan.
Jom tengok apa lagi haiwan yang ada di sini.
Comel je saiznya!
Kandang angsa.
Wikipedia:
The bar-headed goose is a goose that breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes and winters in South Asia, as far south as peninsular India. It lays three to eight eggs at a time in a ground nest. It is known for the extreme altitudes it reaches when migrating across the Himalayas.
Ini kandang Prairie Dog.
These are Black-tailed prairie dog.
Wikipedia:
The black-tailed prairie dog is a rodent of the family Sciuridae found in the Great Plains of North America from about the United States-Canada border to the United States-Mexico border. Unlike some other prairie dogs, these animals do not truly hibernate.
Memang comel, tapi jangan disentuh! Kena gigit nanti!
Seronoknya dia berjemur 😃.
Kolam-kolam kecil begini menjadikan suasana taman ini sejuk dan nyaman.
Patut la ada kolam, sebab ini kandang itik.
Tengah lena 😍.
A Cockatiel.
Jom kita tengok haiwan apa pula yang ada dalam rumah ini.
Waaa.... Deerland Park ini memang best sangat!
Ada Guinea Pigs.
This is Genetic Stripe Bearded Dragon.
herebdragons.com
Genetic stripe is a dominant mutation that causes a clear racing stripe on each side of the spine. The stripes run all the way from neck to tail, and can often be seen extending into the tail. Depending on the dragon's color the stripes may stand out boldly, or be less visible.
Sudan Platted Lizard.
Wikipedia:
The Sudan plated lizard (Broadleysaurus major), also known as the western plated lizard, great plated lizard, or Broadley's rough-scaled plated lizard, is a medium-sized, diurnal African lizard. The Sudan plated lizard is a medium-sized lizard that can grow up to 20-24" long, with the tail being less than half of total length. They have stout bodies, short limbs, and moderately broad tails. This species is easily recognised by its heavily armored appearance. The body and tail is covered in transverse bands of more or less square plate-like keeled scales, and head shields are fused to the skull. The armour makes the animals look a bit like the uncommon perception of Mesozoic reptiles.
Zero Bearded Dragon.
The "Zero" trait is a genetic mutation that creates a completely patternless bearded dragon.
Are zero bearded dragons rare? Extremely rare, the zero bearded dragon morph is completely lacking of patterns and colors. These white bearded dragons are growing in popularity.
Wikipedia:
They are commonly called blue-tongued lizards or simply blue-tongues or blueys in Australia. As suggested by these common names, a prominent characteristic of the genus is a large blue tongue that can be bared as bluff-warning to potential enemies. The type of predator/threat that is near will determine the intensity of colour present in the tongue. In addition, their blue tongue will produce a response in the prey which will in turn diminish the attack. The tongue can also deform itself and produce a thick mucus in order to catch prey. They are relatively shy in comparison with other lizards, and also significantly slower due to their shorter legs.
Blue-tongues skink species are generally docile, gentle, quiet and easily tamed, and can make a good reptile pet for beginners. Although they are not aggressive, they have strong jaws and teeth, meaning that a bite from a skink can be painful. It is advisable not to startle or provoke them, as they may bite if they feel threatened. Specimens can live up to 20 years or more.
Ular pun ada.
Wikipedia:
The Argentine horned frog (Ceratophrys ornata), also known as the Argentine wide-mouthed frog, ornate horned frog, ornate horned toad, or the ornate pacman frog, is a species of frog in the family Ceratophryidae. The species is endemic to South America. It is the most common species of horned frog, in the grasslands of Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. A voracious eater, it will attempt to swallow anything that moves close to its wide mouth, such as insects, rodents, lizards, and other frogs, even if this predator would suffocate in the process. It is also kept as an exotic pet. The nickname "pacman frog" is a reference to the popular 1980's arcade game Pac-Man, where Pac-Man himself eats quite a lot, and has a mouth that takes up most of its body, much like the Argentine horned frog.
Corn Snake.
Wikipedia:
Though superficially resembling the venomous copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix) and often killed as a result of this mistaken identity, the corn snake lacks functional venom and is harmless. The corn snake is beneficial to humans because it helps to control populations of wild rodent pests that damage crops and spread disease.
Biawak.
Wikipedia:
The greater Egyptian jerboa (Jaculus orientalis) is a species of rodent in the family Dipodidae. It is found in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and is possibly extinct in the Negev Desert of Israel. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, sandy shores, and arable land. The greater Egyptian jerboa is a sociable species. The burrows are dug in firm ground and may be up to 2 metres (7 ft) long. It shelters inside during the day, emerging at dusk or at night to forage for seeds, shoots and roots. Food is sometimes stored in chambers in the burrow. This jerboa probably does not need to drink as it gets enough moisture from its food. It has been observed sheltering under, and eating desert truffles (Terfezia species).
Dumpy Tree Frog.
Wikipedia:
The Australian green tree frog (Ranoidea caerulea), also known as simply green tree frog in Australia, White's tree frog, or dumpy tree frog, is a species of tree frog native to Australia and New Guinea, with introduced populations in the United States and New Zealand, though the latter is believed to have died out. Larger than most Australian frogs, the Australian green tree frog reaches 10 cm (4 in) or more in length. Its average lifespan in captivity, about 16 years, is long compared with most frogs. Docile and well suited to living near human dwellings, Australian green tree frogs are often found on window sills or inside houses, eating insects drawn by the light. The green tree frog screams when it is in danger to scare off its foe, and squeaks when it is touched.
Syrian Hamster.
Wikipedia:
The golden hamster or Syrian hamster (Mesocricetus auratus) is a rodent belonging to the hamster subfamily, Cricetinae. Their natural geographical range is in an arid region of northern Syria and southern Turkey. Their numbers have been declining in the wild due to a loss of habitat from agriculture and deliberate elimination by humans. Thus, wild golden hamsters are now considered endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. However, captive breeding programs are well-established, and captive-bred golden hamsters are often kept as small house pets. They are also used as scientific research animals throughout the world.
Mongolian Gerbil.
Wikipedia:
Mongolian gerbils inhabit grassland, shrubland and desert, including semidesert and steppes in China, Mongolia, and the Russian Federation. Gerbils have a wide hearing range, from detection of low frequency foot drumming to higher frequency chirps. Gerbils are social animals, and live in groups in the wild. They rely on their sense of smell to identify other members of their clan. Mongolian gerbils prefer to live in pairs or groups rather than alone. They are social and gentle, and do not bite readily. As diggers and tunnel-makers they are better suited to a tank with a deep substrate or bedding rather than a hamster cage. Mongolian gerbils like to chew objects to file their perpetually growing teeth, like all rodents, and need plenty of cardboard items and chew toys; the cardboard will be chewed up in to bedding and mixed with the substrate.

Overall, kami berdua memang sangat enjoy melawat Deerland Park ini. There are so much more than just the beautiful deers. Ada so many exotic animals and reptiles too.
Till the next coming entry, inshaAllah. Meanwhile do take care.
