Assalamualaikum.
Sampai sahaja kami di hotel dari Rassada Harbour, kami berjumpa dengan Mr. Joe dan terus dibawa ke Phuket FantaSea. Masa itu sudah pukul 7:30 malam. Mr. Joe kata jangan risau sebab masih sempat lagi untuk kami dinner dan tengok show sebab show tu bermula pada pukul 9:00 malam. Lega rasanya.
Dalam perjalanan lebih kurang 20 minit itu sempat kami berbual dengan Mr. Joe. Dia cerita dia selalu jadi tour guide pelancong dari China sebab the pay is much better. Jadi sebab Covid, pendapatan dia agak berkurangan sebab tiada pelancong dari China. Dia juga kata dia ada kawan di Kuching, Sarawak dan he planned to retire in Kuching.
Tiba di Phuket FantaSea.
Next to Phuket FantaSea ada Carnival Magic, satu lagi theme park di Phuket.
Mr. Joe kata tunjukkan voucher Phuket FantaSea pada staff yang ada di situ and just follow the next instruction to register. Mr. Joe will wait for us till the end of the show to take us back to the hotel.

Phuket FantaSea is a Thai nighttime cultural theme park in Kamala, Thailand. It is one of Phuket's most popular nighttime attraction. The park covers an area of 60 acres and includes a Thai culture theatrical show, a theme buffet restaurant, and a shopping street. The park was created at a cost of over THB 3,500 million (US$ 100 million) and was opened to the public on 20 December 1998.

Ok, jom masuk ikut main entrance ini namanya Magic Mountain.
This section of the cultural theme park is the called the Festival Village, which is essentially a shopping street. There are also a game town, an a la carte restaurant, a fast food eatery and bars.
With all the beautiful lightings, I guess it is best to come here at night.

Kami pun sampai ke Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant untuk makan malam.
The Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant is designed in an Ayutthaya-era architectural style, occupying an area of 5,220 m2 (approximately 1.3 acres), with a capacity of 4,000 seated guests and is one of the largest buffet restaurants in the world.
Cantik sungguh bangunan restaurant ini. Also, it is huge!

Memanglah masa waktu malam begini keindahan gaya seni bina zaman Ayutthaya lebih terserlah bila dipancar cahaya. Ok, jom kita masuk dalam.
Waaa.... semuanya 'golden' dalam restoran ini.
About the Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant.
Wow... grand nyaaa... Patung-patung di tepi dinding itulah 'Kinnaree', which is a mythical half-bird half-woman creature with legendary beauty and graciousness.
Dewan makan restoran ini sangat besar. Pada tiket kami ada diberi lokasi meja makan kami iaitu di Zone B di meja B121.
Buffet international ini dibuka dari pukul 5:30 petang hingga pukul 9:00 malam. Show yang kami nak tengok start pukul 9:00 malam, jadi kami perlu bergegas dan mesti selesai makan at least 10 minutes before the show starts.
Dining hall ini dibuat grand begini kerana mereka hendak 'look after guests like proverbial kings and queens'.

Zone B adalah zon buffet makanan halal. Alhamdulillah.

Berbagai pilihan ada disediakan. Bersyukur sungguh kami tidak terlepas dinner ini kerana lambat sampai ke hotel dari Rassada Harbour tadinya. Memanglah kami sudah rasa lapar masa ini, dan kalau terlepas dinner ini dan makan lepas show... waa... kelaparan sungguh la kami especially siangnya tadi we had spent quite an eventful day.

Sedap ke? Oh yes, like seriously 😋. My wife pun suka juga. The spicy fried chicken, the fresh vegetables, the delicate rice and even the fries were so good. Bertambah tak? Indeed, I did... hihi 😄.
The halal buffet spread was so delicious that I had to tell the chefs. Just so happen there were 3 of them near the buffet table. Since mereka tak berapa boleh nak berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggeris, saya pun lambai to the chefs, when they looked at me, I pointed to the buffet spread and gestured them the 'chef kiss'. All three of them looked so happy and very appreciative for my feedback 😃.
Nampak tak ada patung-patung di siling tu. Itu adalah patung-patung Kinnaree, makhluk mitos Thai separuh wanita/separuh burung.
Kain-kain putih panjang direntang beralun-alun di siling nampak macam gumpalan awan. Lamp-lampu siling itu pula nampak macam bintang-bintang bersinar. Cantik.
Oh yes, the dessert. And I must say these simple kuih muih are very delicious and authentic. Entah berapa biji kuih bahulu tu saya makan. Rasa sebiji macam arwah opah saya buat. And the fruits were fresh and juicy and manis, sedap sangat sampai lupa nak ambil gambarnya 😄.
Selain dari patung-patung Kinnara (man/bird) dan Kinnaree (woman/bird), Zone B ini juga dihiasi dengan mural/lukisan dinding yang epik yang menggambarkan dunia mitos Kinnara dan Kinnaree.

Kinnara dan Kinnaree ini dikatakan tinggal di sebuah kawasan hutan yang bernama Himmaphan.
Kiosk-kiosk makanan specialty di dalam dewan makan ini juga dibuat dengan reka bentuk Ayutthaya-era architectural style dan berwarna emas. Cantik sungguh.
Pada pukul 8:45 pm kedengaran announcement pertunjukan Phuket Fantasea akan bermula sebentar lagi pada pukul 9:00 pm. Selesai makan, kami pun keluar menuju ke teater.
Kalau Kinnaree, ia adalah makhluk separuh wanita, separuh burung. Yang ini pula adalah Kinnara makhluk separuh lelaki, separuh burung.

Bersetentang dengan Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant adalah teater Palace of the Elephants. Di situlah pertunjukkan Phuket FantaSea diadakan.

Memang gah sungguh recreation istana batu era Sukhothai ini.
Sebelum masuk teater, kita ambil gambar di luar ini dulu.

Di bangunan teater ini ada 999 patung-patung gajah.
Ok dah, jom kita masuk. Fyi, semua bentuk rakaman pertunjukkan ini adalah dilarang. Oleh itu semua penonton dimestikan meninggalkan segala bentuk alat elektronik yang boleh mengambil gambar dan merakam video di kaunter dan akan dipulangkan selepas pertunjukkan selesai.
Pertunjukan 'Fantasy of a Kingdom' ialah pertunjukan kebudayaan Thai yang diselitkan dengan teknik ilusi dan kesan khas. Persembahan ini berdurasi kira-kira 70 minit dan dipersembahkan di dalam teater yang dibina khas yang dipanggil 'Palace of the Elephants'. Teater ini dibina atas kawasan seluas kira-kira 10 rai (4 ekar), setinggi 3 tingkat dan mempunyai kapasiti 3,000 tempat duduk.

Begitulah pertunjukkannya. Memang hebat and full of actions, from comedy to drama, from beautiful traditional dances to amazing acrobatics. Jadi kalau kawan-kawan nak some night entertainment bila berada di Phuket, bolehlah menyaksikan pertunjukkan ini. Sesuai untuk tontonan bersama keluarga. Plus, dinner pun boleh dimasukkan sekali dalam program ini.
Selesai show, ambil our mobile phones and cameras, kami pun berjalan keluar dari cultural theme park ini. Sambil itu ambil lagi gambar.
Berjalan ke exit.
Keluar dari theme park, jumpa Mr. Joe, terus bertolak ke hotel. Tapi sebelum itu Mr. Joe tunjuk pada kami Carnival Magic, satu lagi theme park betul-betul sebelah Phuket FantaSea.
It was Friday, so theme park ini tutup. Buka hanya pada hari Isnin, Rabu dan Sabtu sahaja.
