Dari stesen LRT Sultan Ismail saya berjalan kaki ke Jalan Yap Ah Shak. Ada car park besar di belakang Sheraton Imperial Hotel KL and that's where the artwork is.

Ada pulak satu kereta park kat situ...hihi...

Saya suka wall art ni sebab ada banyak details menarik.

Ok, dengan ini maka berakhirlah outing "Jalan-jalan Cari 6 Dinding" saya. Seronok walaupun terasa agak penat from all the walking. Saya sangat jarang ke KL so I was a bit overwhelmed by the Sunday crowd, the busy roads and the ever changing cityscapes. All was quite exhilarating actually :).

"SMILE" adalah tajuk wall grafitti ni yang di design dan dilukis oleh Team K.I.S aka 'Keep It Simple'.

Berikut adalah foto2 yg saya ambil dari Galeri Petronas where the Petronas #tanahairku Street Art exhibition was held.

"SMILE" by Team K.I.S at Jalan Sultan Ismail.

Berikut adalah foto2 yg saya ambik at the location of the wall art di Jalan Sultan Ismail.

Untuk ke sana, saya naik semula LRT di stesen LRT Masjid Jamek menuju ke stesen Sultan Ismail. Keluar je dari stesen tu, saya terpinga2. Mana dinding tu? Exit the station saya toleh ke kiri and saw 3 block of flat buildings of what look like the building where the artwork is. Still, tak nampak pun art tu. Saya tanya staff at the station's kiosk tapi dia tak reti cakap Melayu and just a bit of English. Saya tunjuk gambar wall art tu, still dia tak tahu. Lepas tu saya tanya another guy who happened to be passing by, dia kata di block tu [menuding to one of the 3 blocks], di sebelah sana mengadap ke jalan raya. 'Jom saya tunjukkan', kata dia.

Kalau anda bercadang nak ke sini, saya sarankan jangan pegi sorang2. May be it's just me but I felt a bit unsafe di situ. Gi in a group of 4, 5 orang ya.

Needless to say I was dumbfounded. Hebat hasil seni ini. Dan tengok secara live macam ni buat saya lagi teruja :).

Love the details, the bright colors, the different shades of colors and the whole concept.

Kawasan bahagian depan wall art ni agak sempit untuk capture the whole art in one framing. So kalau ada wide angle lens, sila bawa ya. Kalau tak, tak muat nak capture the whole thing.

Lukisan dinding ni sangat besar dan setinggi 3 tingkat, so definitely they had to use elevator cranes!

Saya juga suka perhatikan the details :)

Ada meow pulak...hihi... suka... hihi...

Lepas nak dekat 1/2 jam saya di situ, saya pun terus ke lokasi wall art seterusnya, juga dinding yg terakhir. Masa ni saya dah agak letih juga rasanya sebab dah nak dekat tengahari.
