🔹It was a popular Chinese restaurant known for its revolving dining experience and panoramic views of the Harbourfront area, Mount Faber, and Sentosa.

🔵The image shows high-rise residential buildings in Singapore, specifically identified as being near Spottiswoode Park Road.
🔹The buildings appear to be part of a Housing & Development Board (HDB) estate, which are public housing developments common in Singapore.
🔹The area is named after Charles Spottiswoode, an early resident and merchant in Singapore.
🔵This building is the former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station in Singapore, also known as Singapore railway station or Keppel Road railway station.
🔹Tanjong Pagar Railway Station served as the southern terminus for the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) network, Malaysia's primary railway operator, until its operations ceased on June 30, 2011, when the station relocated to Woodlands Train Checkpoint.
🔹The station, originally named Keppel Road Railway Station, was officially opened on May 2, 1932, by Governor Cecil Clementi, serving as the terminus for the West Coast line of the KTM railway.
🔹Gazetted as a national monument in April 2011, the station's last train departed on June 30, 2011, concluding its 79 years of service.
🔹The station's location directly opposite the Tanjong Pagar docks facilitated the easy transfer of cargo between steamships and railway trains.
🔹Restoration work on the station, including the removal and reassembly of its platform canopies, has been undertaken as part of a heritage preservation project, with the new Cantonment MRT station being built beneath the site and expected to open in 2026.
🔵Singapore's skyscrappers.
🔵The prominent building in this photo is Swissôtel The Stamford, a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Singapore, above the City Hall and Esplanade MRT Stations.
🔵The monument that can be seen is this image is the Civilian War Memorial in Singapore, also known as the Memorial to the Civilian Victims of the Japanese Occupation.
🔹The monument stands 70 meters high in War Memorial Park.
🔹The four pillars of the memorial represent the four major races of Singapore – Chinese, Eurasian, Indian, and Malay – symbolizing their shared experiences and unity during the Japanese Occupation.
🔹The memorial serves as a tribute to the civilians who lost their lives during the Japanese occupation of Singapore in World War II.
🔹The Sook Ching massacre, a systematic purge of "anti-Japanese" elements, primarily targeting the Chinese population, occurred in Singapore from February 18 to March 4, 1942, after the fall of Singapore to the Japanese.
To be continued.
Till the next coming entry, inshaAllah. Meanwhile do take care.

Just wanted to drop a quick note, I really enjoy what you’re doing. It feels like those late-2000s blogs where people wrote purely out of passion and, as you said, simply to remember. I hope you keep it up!
