Assalamualaikum.
Moving on to the next Chapter!
🔹Our amazing 5 days in Johannesburg have officially flown by, and it’s time to head down to beautiful Cape Town! We hopped onto our tour bus and began making our way over to Lanseria International Airport for the next leg of our South African adventure.
🔹Everyone is a mix of sleepy from all the safari excitement and eager to see what the coast has in store for us!

| 🚌 Next stop: Cape Town! Sitting back and relaxing on the ride to the airport. |
Countryside Views
🔹One of the best parts about taking a road transfer is getting to see the changing landscape. Looking out the window, the bustling city vibes of Joburg quickly melted away into peaceful, golden countryside.
🔹My wife managed to snap this pretty view of a wide grassy field dotted with huge rolled hay bales stretching all the way to the horizon under a perfectly clear blue sky.

Arriving at Lanseria Airport
🔹We’ve officially arrived at Lanseria International Airport! While O.R. Tambo handles the massive international traffic, Lanseria is a fantastic secondary airport that feels much more relaxed.
🔹It's famous for regional corporate traffic and private business jets, but it's also incredibly popular for domestic commercial flights. Choosing this airport means fewer crowds, shorter walks, and a much smoother boarding process!

Checked In & Bittersweet Goodbyes
🔹As soon as we walked into the terminal, we headed straight to the FlySafair counter to drop our bags and check in for our budget-friendly flight.
🔹But the moment was bittersweet because it was time to say goodbye to our wonderful tour guide, Ms. Evie. She was so incredibly sweet and friendly over the last 5 days. There were definitely some watery eyes as we parted ways! It’s amazing how close you can get to someone in just a few days. Thank you for everything, Ms. Evie!

🔹Lanseria International Airport (HLA) offers a selection of sit-down restaurants, quick coffee spots, and lounges inside and around the main terminal building.
Hidden Gems Upstairs
🔹With plenty of time to spare after checking in, my wife and I decided to head upstairs to explore the airport's dining area.
🔹We were thrilled to find Kauai Cafe, a fantastic spot that holds an official Halal Certification from the Islamic Council of South Africa. It’s always such a relief and a wonderful bonus to find certified halal options easily while traveling through international hubs!
![]() |
| ☕ Stumbled upon a halal-certified gem at Lanseria Airport while killing time before our flight! |
🔹There is nothing quite like the cozy feeling of an airport cafe date. We grabbed a table at Kauai Cafe to relax, rest our feet, and enjoy a warm afternoon drink.
🔹It gave us the perfect quiet moment to unwind, scroll through our safari photos, and mentally prepare for all the exciting things waiting for us on the coast!

Budgeting the Bites
🔹All that excitement back at the Lion & Safari Park really worked up our appetites! Since we only managed a quick bite earlier, our stomachs started rumbling while waiting for our Cape Town departure.
🔹We placed an order for two large hot chocolates and a wholewheat Steak & Avo Quesadilla Wrap—customized to be "less spicy" just the way we like it. The total came out to ZAR 224 (around RM 56), which is pretty reasonable for a hearty, satisfying airport snack!

The Ultimate Travel Comfort Food
🔹Just look at that beautiful spread! The hot chocolates arrived perfectly frothy with a cute little swirl of latte art on top, making them taste extra comforting. Beside them was our toasted Avocado Quesadilla Wrap, packed with filling goodness.
🔹It was the perfect comforting combination of warm sweetness and a savory bite to keep us fueled and happy for our upcoming flight.

Eye on the Clock!
🔹After finishing up our delicious afternoon snack, it was time to keep an eye on the departures screen. Our FlySafair flight FA 303 to Cape Town was locked in for a 4:45 PM departure.
🔹Lanseria Airport is wonderfully compact, so you don't have to worry about massive treks to the gate, but as the clock ticked closer, we gathered our things and began making our way toward the boarding area!

| ⏰ Flight FA 303 to Cape Town is officially on the board! Time to start moving. |
Making Our Way Down
🔹To reach the actual boarding gates at Lanseria, you head down this wide pedestrian ramp that overlooks the lower terminal level. It’s a very bright, clean, and modern layout that keeps the airport feeling breezy and stress-free.
🔹Walking down here, it really started to hit us that our incredible Johannesburg chapter was closing and our coastal adventure was about to begin!

A Familiar Sight Abroad
🔹While walking pass a waiting seating area, a massive advertisement caught my eye. It was a billboard celebrating 7 years of Islamic Banking in South Africa, showcasing a beautiful mosque graphic.
🔹Coming from Malaysia, it is always fascinating and incredibly comforting to see familiar financial and cultural systems thriving and prominently embraced globally!
![]() |
| 🏦 Spotting an Islamic Banking milestone billboard all the way out in South Africa! |
Seeing that billboard at Lanseria really got me curious! I did a little digging into how Islamic Finance works in South Africa, and honestly, the system is booming down here. It turns out South Africa has become a massive hub for Sharia-compliant banking across the continent. To save you a long read, I put together these quick, eye-catching breakdowns of how it works, who the major players are, and why it's actually catching on with non-Muslims too!
The advertisement pictured highlights FNB Islamic Banking, a division of First National Bank (FNB). Despite South Africa having a Muslim-minority population (around 2% to 3% of the total population), the country has established itself as a sophisticated and rapidly growing hub for Islamic Finance on the African continent.
🗒 Overview of Islamic Banking in South Africa
🔹The Core Mechanism: Islamic finance operates in strict compliance with Shariah (Islamic law). This completely forbids riba (the charging or earning of interest). Instead of lending money at interest, Islamic banks use asset-backed, trade-based, or equity-sharing financial structures where the bank and the client share risks and profits.
🔹Two Main Operational Styles:
o Dedicated Islamic Banks: Institutions that operate entirely under Shariah principles with no conventional banking business.
o Islamic Windows: Separate Shariah-compliant divisions established inside massive conventional retail banks.
![]() |
| 💡 The foundations: Breaking down the 5 pillars and core growth drivers of Sharia finance in SA. |
![]() |
| 🏦 Spotting the locals: You'll see familiar giants like FNB, Standard Bank, and Absa offering these options all over the country. |
💡 Common Product Structures Used Locally
South African banks heavily market several core Islamic contract types to mimic conventional banking utilities legally and ethically:
🔹Murabaha (Cost-Plus Sale): Used widely for property, vehicle, or equipment asset purchasing. The bank purchases the asset directly and resells it to the client at an agreed-upon profit markup, paid back in deferred installments.
🔹Mudaraba & Wakala (Profit-Sharing Deposits): Used for savings accounts. The client pools funds with the bank to invest in halal commercial ventures, and both entities split the resulting profits at a predetermined ratio.
🔹Ijarah (Leasing): Typically used for vehicle or fleet asset tracking where the bank retains ownership of the item and leases its use to the consumer for a fixed fee.
![]() |
| 🚗 Vehicles, homes, and businesses—how everyday purchases are structured without interest. |
⚠️ Regulatory Environment & Non-Faith Appeal
🔹Tax Parity: To encourage growth, the South African National Treasury amended its tax laws (including sections of the Income Tax and VAT Acts) to ensure that Shariah-compliant asset structures are not double-taxed compared to conventional interest-bearing loans.
🔹Universal Appeal: Interestingly, a notable portion of Islamic banking clients in South Africa are non-Muslims. This is driven by consumers seeking ethical investment principles, transparent fee models, and alternative financing rates that do not carry volatile interest penalties.
![]() |
| 🤝 Did you know? A huge chunk of Islamic banking clients in South Africa are non-Muslims drawn to the ethical, profit-sharing models. |
🔹The boarding gate area at Lanseria is spacious and offers plenty of seating for passengers waiting to board. What's even better is that if you didn't catch the dining area upstairs, they have another Kauai Cafe station right down here by the gates!
🔹It’s the perfect setup to grab a last-minute water bottle or a quick espresso shot right before your zone is called to walk out onto the tarmac.
![]() |

Boarding pass secured!
🔹There is nothing quite like the feeling of holding a physical boarding pass in your hands to make a trip feel official! With Flight FA 303 locked in, we checked our seats (Seat 12E for a sweet mid-cabin view) and made sure our one checked bag was all sorted.
🔹Lanseria keeps things moving so efficiently that from check-in to ticket scan, the whole process was an absolute breeze.

The Ride is Waiting
🔹Peeking through the glass doors at Gate 4, we could see our ride waiting out on the tarmac. Lanseria International Airport has a fantastic setup where you can see the planes parked right up close to the terminal window.
🔹Watching the ground crew do their final checks just makes the pre-flight anticipation grow even more!

The Boarding Shuffle
🔹When the announcement came over the speakers, the gate area quickly filled with excited travelers. The queue formed fast, stretching back past the terminal pillars as everyone eagerly readied their boarding passes and passports.
🔹Even though the line looked long, the FlySafair gate crew handled the crowd like total pros, keeping the queue moving forward steady and smooth.

| 🚶♂️ Queueing up! Everyone is eager to get on board and kick off the weekend. |
Tarmac Time & Wheels Up!
🔹One of the best quirks of flying out of Lanseria is the classic tarmac walk! At 4:15 PM sharp—exactly 30 minutes before our scheduled 4:45 PM departure—our boarding zone was called.
🔹Walking out into the fresh air right up to the side of the aircraft lets you really appreciate the size of the plane and grab a close-up photo of FlySafair's signature vibrant branding before climbing the stairs.

| ✈️ Walking right up to our bright pink-and-blue FlySafair plane for a 4:45 PM departure. |
Maybe I am old school, but there is something deeply nostalgic about holding a printed boarding pass instead of just staring at a mobile screen. At most major airports, you wait at the gate, walk through an enclosed airbridge, and suddenly find yourself inside the cabin. There is no tarmac walk, no sudden gush of wind across the wide-open apron, and no unmistakable scent of aviation fuel. You miss the raw rumble of the engines, the walk up the boarding stairs, and the chance to snap a photo with the massive aircraft towering behind you. Boarding at a smaller airport like Lanseria gifts me back a wonderful piece of old-school travel nostalgia. It offers pure moments of travel joy that feel like part of a bigger story. While it might not mean much to anyone else, for me, it is a pivotal transition from one part of the country to the next.
Windows to the World
🔹Stepping inside the aircraft, we quickly found our row and settled into our seats. Looking out the window, we had a perfect view of the Lanseria tarmac, with other vibrant FlySafair planes parked nearby and ground crews wrapping up their final tasks.
🔹There’s always that brief, quiet moment of anticipation right after you sit down, buckle your seatbelt, and look out at the airport one last time before the engines roar to life.

High in the Sky with the B737-800
🔹Our chariot for this journey across South Africa was a narrow-body Boeing B737-800. It’s a classic, reliable workhorse of the skies, and the cabin quickly filled up with a lively mix of travelers all heading down to the coast.
🔹The flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town is a comfortable 2 hours and 15 minutes—just enough time to read through the safety card, enjoy the cabin's bright blue lighting, and maybe sneak in a quick mid-air nap before landing!
![]() |
| ✈️ Up, up, and away! Getting cozy for the 2-hour and 15-minute hop over to Cape Town. |
Golden Hour Departure
🔹As we taxied down the runway and lifted off, the ground quickly fell away, revealing the vast landscapes surrounding Lanseria. Because sunset happens around 5:45 PM during this season in South Africa, the low evening sun cast long shadows across the fields below.
🔹It didn't take very long after takeoff for the golden hues to deepen, giving us a beautiful, short-lived twilight show right outside our window before darkness completely set in.
![]() |
| 🌅 Chasing the early South African sunset as we lift off into the golden sky. |
Farewell, Johannesburg!
🔹Peeking out past the bright pink engine casing, we watched the sweeping rural terrain and small lakes outside Johannesburg slowly shrink into the distance. It was the perfect visual finale to an incredible 5 days spent exploring the city and the safari parks.
🔹Watching the horizon fade away really cemented that feeling of transition—closing a wonderful first chapter of our trip and officially starting the countdown to the Mother City!
![]() |
| 👋 One last look at the Gauteng province from above. Cape Town, here we come! |
In-Flight Delights (and Familiar Rules!)
🔹Flying with FlySafair felt wonderfully familiar, very much like flying with AirAsia back home! They have a great buy-on-board program called "Inflight Delight," featuring coffee from Bootlegger Coffee Company, sandwiches, and snacks. The best part for Muslim travelers? Several of their menu items are guaranteed Halal, which is fantastic to know for future trips.
🔹We ended up skipping the snacks this time around, though, since we were still completely full from our hearty afternoon quesadilla at Kauai Cafe!

Fire in the Sky
🔹Just when we thought our day couldn't get any better, the sky outside our window completely caught fire. As we cruised toward the coast, the horizon melted into a breathtaking gradient of deep crimson, fiery orange, and soft twilight blues.
🔹It was easily one of the most mesmerizing sunsets we have ever witnessed from an airplane window. Moments like this remind you just how magical air travel can be!
![]() |
| 🌅 Speechless. Witnessing the most mesmerizing South African sunset from 30,000 feet! |
A Dream Come True Above the Mother City
🔹As the plane began its descent, a sea of glittering city lights suddenly broke through the darkness. I can’t even begin to describe the wave of emotion that hit us. For years, Cape Town was just a place we read about in magazines, watched on TV, or scrolled past on the internet. It always felt like a distant, untouchable dream—a place simply too far away to ever realistically reach.
🔹We were truly touched and filled with gratitude that Allah SWT finally destined for my wife and me to see this beautiful corner of the world with our own eyes.
![]() |
| 🌃 A deeply emotional moment as the glowing lights of Cape Town finally came into view. |
Touchdown, Cape Town!
🔹Right on schedule at 7:00 PM, the wheels touched down smoothly at Cape Town International Airport (CPT). Alhamdulillah! Stepping off the plane into the crisp night air, the glowing terminal lights welcomed us to the Western Cape.
🔹Our transit from Johannesburg was flawless, and now, the second major chapter of our South African adventure officially begins. We can't wait to grab our bags and start exploring!

Stepping into Africa's 6th Busiest Airport
🔹Walking through the jet bridge, I couldn't help but think about how impressive this travel hub really is. Cape Town International Airport (CPT) consistently holds the crown as the second busiest airport in South Africa (right behind Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo). Regionally, it ranks exactly 6th busiest across the entire African continent, sitting comfortably alongside other massive transit giants like Cairo, Bole, and Mohammed V.
🔹Despite its massive traffic, the airport feels incredibly modern, efficient, and welcoming!

Seamless Domestic Transit
🔹One of the absolute best perks of flying domestically within South Africa is how fast you get through the terminal. Since we flew in straight from Johannesburg, there were absolutely no passport or customs checks to slow us down.
🔹We walked right into the bright, open Baggage Reclaim area to grab our luggage. Within minutes, our bags were off the carousel, and we were fully ready to head out into the Cape Town night!

Meeting the New Crew
🔹As soon as we walked through the exit gates, Mr. Eddy, our tour manager, seamlessly coordinated our transition. He guided us out into the cool evening air underneath the airport's massive concrete canopy.
🔹This is where we officially met our local Cape Town tour guide, Jeremy, who welcomed us with open arms. It felt fantastic to have everything organized so smoothly, allowing us to just enjoy the excitement of arriving in a brand-new city.

🔹We rolled our bags over to our waiting tour bus, loaded up our luggage, and eagerly climbed aboard. The excitement in the air was palpable as everyone found their seats.
🔹Jeremy wasted no time getting us moving—from the airport asphalt, we headed straight toward the Cape Town city center for dinner! After a long afternoon of travel, we are completely ready to taste our very first meal in the Mother City.

Why is Cape Town called the 'Mother City' in South Africa?
Cape Town is called the "Mother City" because it is the oldest urban area and the site of the first European colonial settlement in South Africa.
Historical Roots
🔹First Settlement: Founded in 1652 by Jan van Riebeeck for the Dutch East India Company, it served as a supply station for ships traveling the spice route.
🔹The "First" City: Many regard it as the birthplace of modern urban civilization in the country, though critics note this Eurocentric view overlooks much older indigenous African settlements like Mapungubwe.
The Greek Connection
🔹Metropolis Claim: In the 1930s, a local newspaper declared Cape Town the only true "metropolis" in South Africa.
🔹Word Origin: The word metropolis comes from the Greek words meter (mother) and polis (city), which naturally led to the nickname "Mother City".
Local Humour
🔹Slow Work Ethic: A popular, lighthearted joke among other South Africans—especially in fast-paced Johannesburg—is that the city earns the name because it takes "nine months" for anything to get done there.
First Dinner in the Mother City
🔹Our very first dinner in Cape Town brought us right to the doorstep of Tao Yuan Asian Cuisine Restaurant. After a busy afternoon of flying and transitioning between airports, walking into this bright, welcoming spot was exactly what we needed.
🔹The storefront looks incredibly charming nestled along the sidewalk, and inside, it offers a simple, lovely, and deeply comfortable ambiance that makes you feel instantly at ease.

A VIP Dining Experience
🔹When we walked inside, we realized we had the ultimate VIP treatment—there were no other customers in sight! Our tour group completely occupied the restaurant, as the entire space had been reserved just for us.
🔹It felt so exclusive and relaxing to unwind in our own private dining room, chat about our flight experiences, and watch everyone eagerly pick out their seats around the large round tables.

Thoughtful Halal Catering
🔹One of the highlights of the evening was seeing how thoughtful the arrangements were. A dedicated, special table was carefully prepared specifically for us Muslim travelers to ensure our meals strictly adhered to a halal menu.
🔹It’s always deeply comforting to travel thousands of miles from home and find that your dietary needs are not just met, but handled with such respect and care!
![]() |
| 🤝 Incredibly touched by the special arrangements made for the Muslim travelers like us in our group. |
Course 1: The Comforting Soups
🥣 Starting off the right way! Warm, soothing, and perfectly authentic Chinese soups to kick things off.
🔹Our dining experience at Tao Yuan began with two incredibly comforting soup variations served to warm everyone up. First, a large, shared tureen of traditional Cantonese thick soup arrived at the center of the table, thick with a savory egg-drop base, finely diced vegetables, and tender minced chicken.
🔹Alongside it, we were served individual smaller bowls of a beautifully clear, home-style tofu broth dotted with soft bean curd cubes and finely sliced carrots. It was the absolute perfect way to prepare our appetites for the massive feast ahead!
Course 2: The Main Event—Seafood & Classics
🐟 Glazed whole fish and premium braised abalone take center stage for our main courses!
🔹Next up came the absolute showstoppers of the evening! We were served a whole braised fish cooked flawlessly Cantonese-style, glistening beautifully in a sweet-and-savory soy-based sauce and topped with fresh, finely chopped spring onions.
🔹But the real luxury of the night was the premium, braised whole abalone. It arrived perfectly tender, coated in a rich, glossy brown oyster-style reduction sauce, and elegantly garnished with a single stem of vibrant green broccoli. Tasting fresh seafood cooked with such authentic, traditional techniques all the way down in Cape Town was a true treat!
Course 3: Perfectly Wok-Tossed Greens & Tofu
🥬 Sizzling wok hei! Tasting the beautifully charred, fresh greens and savory braised tofu blocks.
🔹You can’t have a true Cantonese meal without paying homage to the power of the wok! The kitchen brought out a vibrant plate of wok-tossed garlic bok choy that kept a perfect, fresh crunch, alongside a beautifully balanced stir-fried mixed vegetable platter featuring wood ear fungus, sliced cucumber, carrots, and baby corn.
🔹To accompany the greens, we dove into a plate of pan-seared braised tofu blocks. Gently fried until golden-brown on the outside and silky smooth on the inside, they were tossed with green scallions in a delicate light brown sauce that had everyone reaching for seconds.
Course 4: The Savory Carb Finale
🥢 Flat rice noodles fried to absolute perfection—the ultimate savory finish to an unforgettable dinner.
🔹To tie all of these incredible savory dishes together, the final touch was a classic platter of stir-fried flat rice noodles (He Fen). Wok-fried over high heat to achieve that signature, smoky wok hei aroma, the noodles were tossed in a rich, dark soy glaze with sliced onions, scallions, and crisp bean sprouts.
🔹Combining a bite of the smoky noodles with the rich gravy from the abalone and the savory tofu made for a flawless flavor pairing. We walked away from the table completely stuffed, incredibly satisfied, and ready for a good night's rest!
Meeting the Culinary Mastermind Behind Our Meals
🔹After enjoying our incredible feast at Tao Yuan, we had the absolute pleasure of being introduced to Ms. Patty, the culinary coordinator for our trip. She is the mastermind who handled all the meal logistics for our tour group, including meticulously arranging the certified Halal food for us Muslim travelers throughout our stay in Cape Town.
🔹It was wonderful getting to thank her in person! Thanks to Ms. Patty's incredible care and dedication, my wife and I could sit back, relax, and enjoy delicious, worry-free authentic meals right alongside all our friends.

Home Sweet Home in the Mother City
🔹With our bellies completely full from that spectacular Cantonese feast, our tour bus brought us to our home for the next few days: the Pepperclub Hotel. This gorgeous 4-star luxury property is located right in the vibrant, beating heart of Cape Town's city center.
🔹Stepping under the brightly lit, modern canopy of the entrance, you can instantly feel the upscale, cosmopolitan energy of the hotel. It is the absolute perfect place to unpack our bags and unwind!

Smart Travel Habits & Staying Safe
🔹Even though the hotel itself is incredibly secure, our guides gave us a friendly reminder to avoid wandering out into the city streets at night. Just like in Johannesburg and Pretoria, Cape Town deals with a high crime rate after dark.
🔹Honestly, this wasn't an issue at all for my wife and me! No matter what country we are visiting around the world, we always make it a strict rule to stay cozy inside the hotel once the sun goes down anyway. Safety first is the best way to enjoy any holiday!

Key to a Good Night's Rest
🔹The check-in process was a total breeze thanks to our fantastic tour manager, Mr. Eddy. While we rested our feet in the lively lobby lounge under the international clocks, he took care of all the paperwork and stepped up to hand over our room keys.
🔹There is always that small wave of relief when you finally hold your room key in your hand at the end of a very long transit day—now it’s time to head up to see our room!

🔹Talk about wonderful hospitality! Right next to the sleek digital sign pointing toward the concierge and the COPA Restaurant, the hotel had lined up rows of beautiful, golden welcome drinks on the counter.
🔹Taking a sip of that chilled, refreshing beverage was the ultimate pick-me-up after our flight. It was a lovely, thoughtful touch that truly made us feel welcomed to the Western Cape.

The Massive Living Area Surprise!
🔹Talk about a major upgrade! We were absolutely shocked and thrilled when we unlocked the door to discover that we had all been given massive suite rooms at the Pepperclub Hotel.
🔹The main living area is beautifully appointed with a plush leather Chesterfield sofa, a cozy armchair, thick carpeting, and a huge flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. It honestly feels less like a standard hotel room and more like a high-end, luxury apartment right in downtown Cape Town!

| 🛋️ Space for days! Totally blown away by the gorgeous, upscale living area in our surprise suite. |
A Fully Equipped Kitchenette
🔹Turning around from the lounge area, the suite features a fantastic, fully equipped built-in kitchenette. Having clean white cabinetry, a sink, and plenty of counter space right in your room is such a game-changer when you're traveling. It gives you so much flexibility to store cold water bottles, rinse out travel flasks, or just prep a quick midnight snack.
🔹Knowing we get to unpack and call this comfortable space home for the next 3 nights is the absolute best feeling!
![]() |
| 🍳 Home away from home! Having a private kitchenette makes a 3-night stay so much better. |
Premium Coffee & Sweet Treats
🔹The hotel definitely didn't skimp on the little luxuries! The kitchenette counter is stocked with a premium coffee and tea station, complete with an espresso capsule machine, an electric kettle, bottled water, and a wide selection of Dilmah teas and local Nescafe coffees.
🔹They even thoughtfully included a package of delicious Mantelli’s Almond Biscotti to pair with your morning brew. It’s exactly the kind of welcoming touch that makes waking up in a new city so much sweeter.

A Quiet Desk Space & Comfy Bed Ahead
🔹Right under the main TV screen sits a sleek, dedicated writing desk with a comfortable leather chair—perfect if you need to quickly back up safari photos or update your travel notes.
🔹After a long flight and a wonderful dinner, seeing that big, comfy bed waiting for us was pure bliss. We are officially ready to get some sound sleep and gear up for our first full day of Cape Town adventures!
![]() |
| 🖥️ A perfect little workspace corner... right before jumping into that incredibly cozy bedroom! |
Privacy and Ultimate Comfort
🔹What makes these Pepperclub suites truly feel like a luxury apartment is the thoughtful layout. The bedroom is entirely separate from the living lounge and kitchenette area, giving you maximum privacy and a quiet sanctuary to unwind.
🔹It features cozy twin beds topped with crisp white linens, an elegant tufted headboard, and spacious built-in closets to hide away all our luggage.
![]() |
| 🛏️ Sweet dreams ahead! A beautiful, completely separate bedroom area for a perfect night’s rest. |
A Massive, Spa-Like Bathroom
🔹If you think the living area is big, just wait until you see the bathroom! It is incredibly spacious, bright, and beautifully designed with warm wood-grain tiling. It comes fully equipped with a large modern vanity, a sleek walk-in glass shower stall with a rainfall showerhead, and a gorgeous, deep freestanding soaking tub.
🔹It honestly feels like stepping into a private, high-end day spa right inside your own hotel suite.

Eco-Luxury & Sunlit Citrus Scents
🔹The hotel stands out for its fantastic "Going Green" initiatives, prompting guests to reuse towels and linens to save water.
🔹But what really stole our hearts were the premium toiletry selections! The body lotion is enriched with local Desert Melon Oil, which provides deep, long-lasting skin hydration, antioxidant defense, and helps rebuild the skin barrier.
🔹For the soap bar, body wash, conditioner, and shampoo, they chose an incredible Orange & Bergamot scent. Inspired by the sunlit orange groves of Seville, the bright, uplifting citrus fragrance made every shower feel completely refreshing.

A Balcony Fit for a Party
🔹To top off an already perfect suite, we stepped outside onto our room's absolutely massive private balcony. Looking out into the crisp night air, we had a fantastic view of the city center and the silhouettes of the hills beyond. When my wife walked out, she immediately laughed and said the terrace is so huge you could easily host a barbecue out here for 10 to 15 people!
🔹Standing out here under the stars, the absolute scale of our room really hit us. It is the perfect spot to sit with a warm cup of tea and soak in the city vibes before heading to sleep.
