PENANG - FISHING

Selepas di jeti nelayan, kami di bawa David ke satu spot dimana katanya ader banyak ikan untuk tujuan memancing. Pada kami semua memang le seronok sebab seumur hidup tak pernah memancing ikan.

Kata David masa memancing tu jangan dok renung kearah tali pancing atau lebih tepat mata dok concentrate kat permukaan laut. Nanti mabuk kata David. Pandang ke arah lain contohnya ke arah hutan yg berdekatan. Look at something green tambah dia.

Each of us diberi segelung tali dgn hook mata kail dgn pemberat terikat. Excited and begitu concentrate sekali mereka menunggu any feel of fish nibbling on the bait.

Umpan yg paling best kata David ialah isi udang. Ni David dah siap2kan untuk kami guna, bits and pieces of prawn yg kami cucukkan ke mata kail then lowered ke dalam laut dan tunggu ia dipagut.

Once terasa je ader pagutan, cepat2 tarik dan sentap. Ikan pertama telah berjaya di tangkap oleh Syahir! :)
Tak ingat tu ikan apa kata David. Ikan buntal kot.
Ikan2 yang kami tangkap kami lepaskan balik ke laut. Kata David ini kena buat dgn cepat sebab ikan2 tu boleh survive dalam jangka masa cuma 40 ke 50 saat je out of water. Of course David helped us tu unhook the fish dgn cepat.

Second fish was caught by Adam. Look how excited he was...hihi....

Ni Abe dan Adam dgn gigih dan penuh kosentrasi nak tangkap ikan. Si Syahir tu pulak tengah pening2 lalat mabuk sikit sebab terumbang ambing dalam bot. I too felt the same. Rasa macam nak muntah pun ader gak.

Then Vino pun dapat sekor. So jubilant gitu.....hihihi....

Rupanya bukan kami je yang tengah tangkap ikan. We were joined by these magnificent Penang white eagles. For me to watch them swoopped and grabbed a fish was such an amazing treat! Yg bestnya totally tak expect pun to see them actually! Syukur alhamdulillah.

PENANG - JETI NELAYAN

As mentioned in previous entry, we went for the 'Coastal Fishing' activity which cost RM350 per boat. Selama 4 jam boat ride kami di bawa ke jeti nelayan, memancing ikan and Monkey beach with barbeque lunch. Memang la best semua tu tapi pada kami apa yang buat short trip tu more interesting ialah info2 dan cerita2 dari guide kami David.

David bercerita yang sebelum dia jadi guide for boat tour tu, dia ialah seorg beach boy. Beach boys menurut David sangat dibenci oleh newspaper kerana mesti ader sahaja cerita buruk tentang mereka or these newspaper is always quick to point out mistakes [or so they thought] and judge the beach boys. David juga cerita yang hidup sebagai beach boys senang nak buat duit kerana beach activities costs bukannya murah. Contohnya, pernah beberapa kali pasangan Arab di charge sampai RM1,500.00 untuk parasailing. Pelancung Arab tu bukannya kisah pasal duit. Kaya so bayar je tanpa banyak cakap. David juga kata beach boys senang dapat perempuan. It seemed ramai pelancung wanita dari negara2 barat suka approach beach boys ni for you-know-what la. Bila ditanya kenapa dia stop jadi beach boys, dia kata sudah kawin mana boleh hidup cara itu lagi. Banyak lagi lah cerita2 si David tu which kept us thoroughly entertained and fascinated and at times horrified bila dia cerita tentang kemalangan dan kecederaan serta kematian akibat salah kendali activiti2 pantai tu seperti parasailing tu. Juga cerita bagaimana ader nelayan yg terjumpa mayat terapung di laut.

PENANG - MORNING WALK - FLAMINGO HOTEL

Kami menginap di Hotel Flamingo, Tanjung Bungah. Pagi tu lepas breakfast aku plan to take a stroll by the beach, my morning walks :).

And what a lovely morning walk it was.

Ok, sebelum turun ke pantai took shots of hotel and surroundings dulu dari balcony bilik.
The pool looks very inviting yes? :)

That's the beach I'll be exploring. That guy yg tgh wind surfing tu.... woooo..... laju giler! Good wind pagi tu!

At same time ader model photoshoot on the beach. Perhaps for some fitness magazine.

Biasa la these guys jet skiing here and there trying to entice tourists.

We went for the jet ski, bandwagon and coastal fishing [with stop at Monkey beach].

Beautiful views there.

It just seemed so serene. It was what I was hoping to experience being there on my morning walk. Just to absorb the wonderfully calming surrounding. Le sigh. Alhamdulillah.
Life had been quite stressful lately so this was a very much welcomed moment.

Tetiba ader pulak burung merpati. So aku pun dgn excited nya hunt burung ni macam org hilang akal.. haha.
A middle aged man [well almost] running around chasing after a pigeon on a beach...hahaahaha....
Oh.. what joy it was. hihihi....

Then datang pulak si putih ni. Terus dia nak tackle si kelabu tu... hihih....

Tengah2 merakam scenries ni, terperasan burung2 hitam tu. Ingatkan burung apa, rupanya gagak. Banyak pulak tu.

Hoping for seagulls ker. Ni crows pulak. Gagak pun gagak le.
Bila start shoot, ingat nak capture je a few shots. Lama2 makin banyak aku shoot.
Best gak shoot crows ni.

Tadi shoot merpati. Pas tu gagak pulak. Bila dapat shots cam ni, jadi excited pulak...hihi...

Then notice pulak this guy tgh menjala. Dia ok je aku ambik gambar dia. Siap lambai dan senyum. Friendly guy.

Then jumpa pulak anjing ni. Dia tengah syok berendam...hihi. So cute and adorable.

Dah dekat sejam lebih so aku berpatah balik ke hotel. Kebetulan ader wedding photoshoot. Ader majlis kahwin at a lawn by the beach.

Agaknya ni burung tadi kot...hihi...

Baru lepas canoeing.

Then jumpa lagi dogs yang tengah happily running and wagging their tails excitedly chasing burung2. So care free and so comel...hihihi
Tuan anjing2 tu ader dok kat tepi pantai tu. I waved at him. He nodded and signaled me not to worry. So I felt safe ler.

Lagi people enjoying parasailing over the beautiful beach during that gorgeous morning. The view from up there must be totally awesome agaknya. Kalau le aku berani.. hihi...

All in all I had a fantastic time during the morning walks.
Agar aku tidak lupa.
Syukur alhamdulillah.
