Interesting! 😃

Waaa... so lavish! An extravagant feast! 😃 The room is wall-to-wall red carpeted with matching red curtain. Walls covered with gold textured wallpaper. The ceiling adorned with a beautiful chandelier.

The luxurious table is cordoned off with stanchions (red velvet ropes). So no touching the exhibits please. But wait.... all these classy and sumptuous food for only two person? Hihihi... 😄😃. Of course la. This is so not a common buffet lah... hihi... 😄.

With this exhibit, the artists who created these ultra realistic dishes had proven yet again that they are the best in the business of making food models.

Also displayed are the information on the expensive dishes. Let's have a closer look shall we.

This is Steamed Chinese Cabbage in Supreme Soup. It is the State Banquet of China, the pinnacle of Sichuan cuisine.

Information on Steamed Chinese Cabbage in Supreme Soup. Agaknya so expensive sampai price pun 'unknown'.

Next is a bagel. It is the Westin Hotel Bagel. Harganya USD 1,000 for a set. Mahal sebab ada truffle.

Information on Westin Hotel Bagel.

This fabulously golden looking item is actually a sundae.

Namanya Golden Opulence Sundae.

Nak makan pizza mahal? Lagi la nak bayar USD 4,200 for a pizza!! That's about RM 18,000!! 😕😧

Pizza mahal ni namanya Domenico Crolla's Pizza Royale 007.

Next is the USD 1,000 omelettes which is lebih kurang RM 4,500. Namanya Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata.

About Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata.
'Essentially a Frittata is an egg-based Italian dish similar to an omelette or crustless quiche or scrambled eggs, enriched with additional ingredients such as meats, cheeses, or vegetables. The word frittata is Italian and roughly translates to "fried"
This omelette has Sevruga Caviar and Lobster Claws.
'Sevruga caviar is one of the highest priced varieties of caviar, eclipsed in cost only by the Beluga and Ossetra varieties. It is harvested from a variety of critically endangered sturgeon fish species, that are known for their small, grey colored eggs'.

Talk about being excessive 😧. This is one very glamorous burger indeed.

Namanya Glamburger. Reading the ingredients below, I kept thinking how do one eat this outrageously stuffed burger. Anyway, I will never face such conundrum sebab harganya RM 4,800 !! Hihihi... 😄. I'll stick to the delicious and affordable Ramly Burger, thank you 😋.

Next is Mattake or Matsutake Mushrooms, sejenis cendawan yang mahal di dunia.

The annual harvest of this Matsutake Mushrooms in Japan is less than 1,000 tons a year. If my math is correct, assuming the harvest hits 1k ton a year, that's equivalent to USD 907 million a year at the rate of USD 1,000 per kg!!

Most of us had tried sushi before, right? But, not like these sushi. These are the Golden Sushi.

Sedikit info tentang edible gold.
🔶Emas dianggap "biologically inert," bermakna ia melalui saluran penghadaman tanpa diserap.

If these are all the actual dishes, berapalah agaknya harga semeja makanan ini?

Ini pula ialah 'Buddha Jumps Over The Wall'. Essentially, a shark fin soup.
Experts classify one-third of sharks and their relatives as threatened, urging conservation action.
So say 'NO' to shark fin soup!

So why Buddha jumps over the wall?
The dish's name is an allusion to the dish's ability to entice the vegetarian Buddhist monks from their temples to partake in the meat-based dish, and implies that even the strictly vegetarian Gautama Buddha would try to jump over a wall to sample it.

Could I interest you in a cup of a coffee? A luxurious Palace Cauppcino that is 😃. Secawan cuma RM 66 sahaja 😄. But you have to fly to UAE and go to Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi 😄.

Nampaknya kalau nak jack up your food and drinks prices, tabur je edible gold leaf or flakes.. hihi 😄. Like, buat sate guna kobe beef dan New Zealand venison, lepas bakar tabur gold leaf. Also tabur gold leaf atas kuah kacang dan ketupat/nasi impit. Dan jual RM 20 ke RM 30 secucuk... hihi 😄.

Yang ini pula 23-Karat Gold Chocolate Bacon. See, this also sprinkled with edible gold.

This is Wagyu Beef Steak. Apa beza Wagyu beef dan Kobe beef?
"Wagyu” refers to any cattle that is bred in Japan or the Japanese-style. Kobe beef is comprised of a very particular strain of Wagyu called Tajima-Gyu that is raised to strict standards in the prefecture of Hyogo. Kobe beef is a type of Wagyu. Wagyu is not a type of Kobe, so there are types of Wagyu that are not Kobe, including Bungo, Matsusaka, and Ohmi.

Japanese Wagyu beef is the most expensive in the world.

This is Marni-Laduree Gold Leaf Macarons. Essentially, chocolate macarons wrapped with edible gold sheets.

Ok, last one, the Italian White Alba Truffle.

Ok jom kita ke bahagian-bahagian seterusnya.

Telur goreng saiz jumbo di dinding, along with proverbs related to eggs.

Minuman bungkus ikat tepi.

Dah jadi macam hasil seni 😃.

The bitter, sweet and sour.

Sweets and confections.

The horror of Shark Fin Soup.

I'm FINished With Fins.

Eat something else la. So close to extinction already.... 😞.

Food is ART.

This is the museum's shop. It has so many interesting things. I wish I could show you more on what are on sale here but actually photography is not allowed in this shop. So saya tak boleh la nak tolong promote kedai ini.

Section showing how much sugar content in food.

I had an amazing time at this museum and would definitely recommend to anyone who has a bit of time to spare to immerse him or herself in the beautiful and incredibly realistic food model creations. And the food are Malaysia's Food. That's definitely a huge plus for me as all the food model I've seen before are either Japanese food or Western food.

For me personally, the stars of the exhibits are unquestionably the dioramas. They are so amazingly detailed, so meticulously created and more importantly each and every one of them had successfully capture the spirit of Malaysia.

Till the next coming entry ~ 'Going Home', inshaAllah. Meanwhile do take care.
